Microsoft has officially launched its AI-powered Designer app for iOS and Android users. This innovative app enables users to create custom images, stickers, greeting cards, invitations, and more using a variety of templates. Additionally, the app leverages AI technology to edit and restyle images, as well as create image collages.

The Microsoft Designer app includes a text prompt feature for generating images and provides an extensive selection of templates for various purposes, such as greeting cards, social media posts, icons, wallpapers, and coloring book pages. The app also features an avatar creator, available on the mobile version, encouraging users to personalize their designs.

One of the standout features of Microsoft Designer is its AI-powered image editing capabilities. Users can restyle existing images, add decorative AI-generated borders, remove backgrounds, and eliminate unwanted people or objects from images. The app also allows for adding text and branding to images, enhancing customization options.

Microsoft Designer is currently available as a standalone app, but it is also integrated with Microsoft’s Copilot in applications like Word and PowerPoint. Copilot Pro subscribers can now create images and designs directly within these applications. Furthermore, Microsoft plans to introduce a new banner image generator for Word documents in the near future, expanding the app’s functionality.

With the release of Microsoft Designer, users have a powerful new tool at their disposal for creating and editing images with the assistance of AI, streamlining the design process across multiple platforms.
