WhatsApp Denies Sharing Your Messages With Facebook in New Policy
Since you probably wont read the whole of the policy, let us break it down for you with a little help from WhatsApp.
We want to address some rumors and be 100% clear we continue to protect your private messages with end-to-end encryption. pic.twitter.com/6qDnzQ98MP

The five things you should remember even when you make plans to leave WhatsApp;
- We can’t see your private messages or hear your calls, and neither can Facebook
- We don’t keep logs of who everyone is messaging or calling
- We can’t see your shared location and neither can Facebook
- WhatsApp does not share your contacts with Facebook
- Groups remain private
WhatsApp also states that the policy update does not affect the privacy of your messages with friends or family. Instead, this update includes changes related to messaging a business on WhatsApp. This is is optional, and provides further transparency about how we collect and use data.
Some of you might still be skeptical and so are we. We can never really trust everything they tell us but it all seems pretty legit. Our argument is that in as much as people always complain, we are yet to truly see concrete evidence of our data being shared.
Never the less, it is important to stay safe and vigilant. You cannot escape social media. If you must tell trade secrets, tell them in person to those that require it.
