The iPhone 11 (in review) launched a while back and has already gone on sale in some markets, starting with the U.S.
While we’ve already seen some absurdly priced iPhone 11s on sale in Kenya (prices starting at Kes.100,000 for the $700 iPhone 11 64GB and Kes.145,000 for the $999 64GB iPhone 11 Pro), those prices are from grey market sellers and not the official Apple distributor in the region, though honestly, we don’t expect the prices to be too different.
For those who the money is not an object and/or you’re an Apple fanboy, you are eyeing on getting one of these babies for yourself, if you’ve not already done so through the unofficial channels.
Well, if for one reason or another you need a little bit of convincing to decide whether spending over 100k on a smartphone is worth it, we’ve curated some of the best (both in cinematography and content):
The phone is the successor to the iPhone XR rather than the standard iPhone XS. However, it would be a proper upgrade for anyone with an iPhone X or below. Aside from retaining last year’s design, the iPhone 11 now features a dual-camera setup that’s really the highlight of the phone.
From improved portrait shots to wide-angle photos and a new dedicated night mode and even slofies (slow-motion selfies).
There’s more to the phone too, Apple claims that the device has the toughest glass ever on a phone but don’t drop it, there’s water resistance, fast charging capability (if you buy the charger separately), and a myriad of colours to choose from; purple, yellow, green, black, white and red.
Anyway, here are the best reviews of the iPhone 11 to watch:
iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max
Like the iPhone 11, the Pro Max devices add features to the list and an extra lens to make the camera a triple-lens setup with wide-angle and zoom capabilities. The display is also better with higher resolution, and Apple included a fast charger with the device this time around.
