Moving through tabs using key commands

If you have a lot of tabs opened at the same time, and you need to jump to another tab quickly, Google Chrome lets you navigate through them easily and fast using key commands instead of using a mouse or touchpad. To do this, just hold down the Ctrl key and tap a number on your keyboard (numbers 1 through 9). Each number is associated with a tab. If you need to jump to the 5th tab on your Chrome browser, just hold down Ctrl and number 5.

 Create Shortcuts for Your Favorite Websites

I find this feature very useful. Google Chrome allows us to create shortcuts for websites that we like or use more often. Chrome lets us open a specific website, without opening the main browser. You can access it by clicking the Page icon on the top right corner of Google Chrome. Open the Website in Chrome, for which you need to create the shortcut, and then click on “Create Application Shortcuts”

Drag multiple tabs at once

You should be familiar with the ability to drag any tab on Chrome to any position, drag to create a new browser window, and mix tabs within the same browser windows. Just hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard, and select all the tabs you want to move around.

Sync Chrome across devices

From your laptop to your tablet, to your phone, your stuff in Chrome goes where you go. When you turn sync on, you can access your bookmarks, saved passwords, and secure payment information.

Change Where Downloads Are Saved

By default, Chrome saves downloads to the “Downloads” folder on your device. You can change where those downloads are saved. You have two choices for your download folder. You can choose any default location you’d like or opt to be asked every time. If you find your Downloads folder getting out of hand, it might be a good idea to change how Chrome behaves.
