Social media platform X has recently launched its audio and video calling features for Android users. These features were introduced on iOS last October. Users may need to update the app to access the new feature. According to X developer Enrique Barragan, any user can receive calls, but only X Premium subscribers can make calls.

In a recent post, X company explained that their services are specifically designed for smaller businesses. Subscribers will receive ad credits and priority support to help them grow faster on the platform. This move is aimed at providing affordable yet effective ways for smaller organizations to enhance their presence on the platform.

Earlier this month, X introduced a new entry-level paid subscription for verified organizations priced at Kes. 32,500 ($200) per month or Kes. 3,25,000 ($2,000) per year. This basic tier includes a gold check-mark badge and various additional benefits, making it a more affordable option than the “full access” tier which is priced at Kes 1,62,500 ($1,000) per month.
