iPhone 14 model phones will be available 10 days after the launch date set on September 7th, 2022. Apple will hold an in-person event that will be streamed online at 8:00 PM East African time. The Event dubbed Far Out will see the release of the most anticipated next-generation Apple products. So what are the iPhone 14 expected features? First, let’s find out where it is showing and what other products will launch.
The event will be streamed on YouTube, the Apple-events website, and the Apple TV. During this event, we expect the unveiling of the iPhone 14, 14 Max, 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max.
Additionally, we expect the Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch Pro, Apple Watch SE, and perhaps other devices such as second-generation Air Pods Pro and new iPads.

iPhone 14 Expected Features and Specifications?
Apple is known to have a 3-year design cycle with the first year invested in a completely new look, the second year comes with under-the-hood intense alterations of the year 1 phone while year 3 comes with design changes to the existing look. This being year 3, expect some minimal changes to the design. Fingers crossed for the removal of the notch this year.
Size
The iPhone 14 will come in 2 sizes. 6.1” for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro and 6.7” for the iPhone14 Max and iPhone 14 pro-Max all with a bump-less rear camera notch as seen on their predecessors.
Camera
The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will expectedly have a 12MP wide camera while the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will have a 48MP wide camera.
Video recording capability
We expect the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14, Max, to have 4K video recording capability. However, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will have 8K video recording capability.
Operating system
The phones will run on IOS 16 with all‑new personalisation features, an improved lock screen, high intelligence focus, and iCloud share photo gallery among other features see here. As for RAM, all the models will come with 6GB RAM.
Processor
The pro versions will come with an A16 Bionic processor. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will retain the A15 Bionic (5nm) chips currently on the iPhone 13 models.
USB charging port
Apple is choosing to retain their USB 3.0 lightning ports for all the new models. (bummer)
Additional features
Satellite technology
We expect the devices to also have satellite technology. This feature will allow users to effectively communicate with their emergency contacts without a network provider or in areas with no 4G and 5G coverage.
Along with the iPhone 14 launch, Apple will unveil the 41mm and 45mm Apple watch series 8. This will be the successor to the Series 7 termed as the best smartwatch money can buy.
