It’s been a while since the update and it seems like some people still don’t know about this feature where you can now send high-quality images on WhatsApp.

Arguably, it makes sense when trying to save on data and just wanting a quick response. However, in this day and age, WhatsApp is becoming more of a necessity and it’s time we get the chance to send high-quality images to each other. So here’s how to do it.

1. Open WhatsApp
2. Click on the three dots on the top right and select Settings
3. Open Storage and Data
4. Select the last option ‘Media Upload Quality’
5. Choose option Two: Best Quality
6. Send quality photos to friends, family and clients

One of the largest problems WhatsApp has always had is compressing photos and videos when you send them. Solving this has made things much much smoother on the App. It, unfortunately, does not work for videos but at least now there is hope.

I believe it is a feature that everyone needs when you think about businesses and families who use this platform every day. Seeing as a lot of people use WhatsApp, (as a photographer for example) it would be easier to convince a client by sending them your best photos and videos for consideration.

Maybe WhatsApp can implement a feature that lets you select the quality you want to send it in before you send it. This should cover all the bases. Just like Telegram does.
