Oppo is announcing two new smartphones in their A-series to the Kenyan market, the OPPO A16K and OPPO A55.
The two stylish devices will run on Android 11 and Oppo’s own ColorOS (11.1) operating system for an optimized user experience.

The screen is a 6.52-inch HD+ display powered by a 4230mAh battery. The screen is fitted with a series of features they call All-day Eye Care. The eye care features give users a healthier and more comfortable visual experience in cases of continuous exposure to the screen.

The A16K comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB worth of internal storage. That should be a good enough space for storing the shots taken by either the 13MP rear main camera or the 5MP selfie camera. Additionally, creative post-production tools such as AI Palette and SoLoop are available for transforming images and videos.
The phone is manufactured to be waterproof and comes certified with an IPX4 rating. Extra protection is provided by newly added graphite sheet heatsinks for protection against overheating.
Oppo A16K device will be available in two color options; black and blue. It will retail at Ksh19,999,

The screen here is a 6.51-inch Punch-Hole powered by a 5000mAh battery alongside 18W of fast charging.
Oppo says users will be able to enjoy a battery life that can make phone calls for 29.79 hours, and play music for 24.40 hours straight.
The phone spots a triple HD camera setup at the back. This comprises of a True 50MP AI Camera, 2MP Bokeh Camera, and a 2MP Macro Camera. Furthermore, there is a front 16MP selfie camera alongside the famous OPPO AI Beautification feature.
Storage and memory will be availed at 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM. It will be in addition to Dual SIM Standby and a Micro SD card slot that can expand storage to 256GB.
OPPO A55 comes in a curvy design combined with three color options of either Rainbow Blue, green, or Starry Black. It will retail at25,999.
