Huawei Mobile Kenya announced the launch of the new Huawei MatePad 11 that will be available for retail in Huawei Experience Stores across the country. The MatePad 11 is one of the company’s latest tablets in a market that has slowly been reviving the use of tablets with Samsung and Apple leading the way.

The Huawei  MatePad 11 is the first from the firm that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, designed to deliver smooth visuals and better responsiveness. To offer that tablet user experience, the tablet also comes with the Huawei M-Pencil (2nd generation). According to Huawei, the 120Hz display also ensures that the stylus is highly responsive with an input latency as low as 2ms.

The device is powered by a Snapdragon 865 octa-core chipset. Beneath the chassis also lies 6GB of RAM. As for storage space, the MatePad 11 is available in three variants, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.

You can tell that the tablet isn’t meant to be a master of photography as it just features a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera.

Battery life is supported by a huge 7250 mAh power pack that supports 22.5W fast charging and 5W reverse charging.
