Around 2015, social media managers took to brutal replies to drum up some traction on their pages and Safaricom may have been the best of them all. At first it was quite shocking to see such a huge company take an approach as we are used to robot politeness on social media.
However companies like phone skin and covers manufacturers, DBrand, have built an empire around such replies. This is including sending you pakages with ‘kind messages. Case in point,
Damn @dbrand, gave you the opportunity to advertise yourself smh pic.twitter.com/q8BG7AQA3M

People seem to love this approach, so why not bring it to Kenya, the land of the KOT. Seeing as our Twitter responses are savage already, why not join the party. In short Safaricom did not come to play. Here are some of the most brutal replies from Safaricom.
Safaricom Brutal Replies: If you Can’t Beat Them, Join Them
In an interview with Nairobi News, the Savagery expert ER^ is necessary as a little humor is always good.
“I often answer about 120 to 150 queries per day, the platform may be different, but it’s still customer care. Clients call us because they are frustrated, but beyond sorting their problems, a little humour helps ease things.”
This has to be my favorite among others

The story behind Safaricom's renowned witty&savage responses is ER aka Eric Mwiti.
He's turned himself into a brand that companies pay millions for.
He makes the brands more relatable & less of an abstract robot. pic.twitter.com/G95oAkMe12— Ntaraza Brand (@NtarazaBrand) June 20, 2019
