Kenyan-based gaming hub, Tric Gaming, is set host one of the biggest FIFA 20 e-sports competitions in Nairobi. Planned for 18th October kick-off the tourney is very well expected to be among the biggest in the city with over 420 participants already registered to compete against each other.

The lounge is one quite popular among young video game players with its luxurious setting located at three locations in the CBD. What surprises, even more, is that this will be the first tournament of this kind that the lounge plans and hosts. However, the competition is expected to be a tough one with a Kes. 175,000 total pool prize attached to it.

The tourney will be specialised with the latest FIFA 20 as the ultimate battlefield. This will definitely be one to see considering the gameplay changes that were brought in with FIFA’s latest edition that haven’ been as pleasing to a lot of players.

The first day, 19th will begin with the 400+ players battling it out in the knock out rounds. This will end with 64 players heading out on the 20th at Two Rivers Mall for the finals where the best players will have a chance to shine.

The grand prize Kes 100,000 will be given to the winner with the first and second runner-up earning Kes 50,000 and Kes 25,000 respectively.

This is our first-ever e-sports tournament to host and it will really be interesting to see the FIFA 20 competition live up to our expectations and be as successful to the players as it will be to us. A full-bblooded encounter for a number of reasons, many of them illegitimate.

It definitely is pleasing to see the world of e-sports growing with more parties coming in to bring as many opportunities to the country’s players. This tourney comes concurrently with Safaricom’s BLAZE e-sports competition going on at Dedan Kimathi University, Nyeri.
