If you thought Call of Duty Mobile was just here to be beaten, you have never been more mistaken. The first week of Activision might very well be more than exciting for them, racking up more downloads than any other mobile game in history. According to the analytics firm, Sensor Tower, the game has achieved over 100 million downloads since going live on October 1st.

This easily beats out the initial launch figures that had been released earlier by the same firm that had gotten to about 20 million installs. Moreover, the game becomes the best above PUBG Mobile that got 28 million downloads in its first week. Meanwhile, the mobile version of Fortnite staggered to 22.5 million downloads on its launch week across regions.

And more to how impressive Call of Duty Mobile‘s figures are, you should note that the game hasn’t launched in China.

This is by far the largest mobile game launch in history in terms of the player base that’s been built in the first week.

For comparison, the firm recorded 90 million downloads for Mario Kart Tour the week prior. According to Sensor Tower, iOS players made for 55.7% of the total numbers and 53% of the total $17.7 million in revenue from in-app purchases alone.

Despite the lack of domestic launch, Call of Duty: Mobile was developed by Tencent’s TiMi Studio in Shenzhen, China and published by Activision. TiMi has previously been best known for League of Legends-style mobile MOBA Honor of Kings, which by some metrics is the most popular game on the planet. So, have you played the game yet?
