Admittedly, Huawei has suffered a bit of a hit when it comes to sales in the country – an effect of Trump’s ban on Huawei and the resulting effects of the move which rendered a cloud of uncertainty on Huawei devices.
The truth is, Huawei smartphones have in the past one year been very good phones across the board – from entry-level phones to their flagships. This year alone, the company has announced a number of worthy devices under their Y-series and P-Series.
In an effort to push more sales, the company has launched a 20% off promotional period starting from the 25th of July 2019. The announcement was made through the company’s social media accounts and it focuses on the brand’s more affordable Y-Series lineup.

Do we recommend any of these devices?
Actually yes. We have physically interacted with all the devices on this list and they are all good devices in their own right. With the 20% discount, there’s even more reason to get a good phone and save some cash.
The phones can be purchased at any of Huawei brand stores across Kenya. Fortunately or unfortunately, the company has not given an ending date to the promotion.
