Uber has launched Uber Comfort, a high-end mobility product that caters to rider preferences and adds a layer of customization and comfort to every trip. Uber Comfort offers riders newer cars with spacious interiors and ample legroom, providing a comfortable journey.

The in-app feature “Rider Preferences” now allows riders to request a specific vehicle temperature and conversation preference for a tailored ride experience. Riders can now set the vehicle temperature to their liking before pick-up, ensuring comfortable conditions regardless of weather.

In addition, Uber Comfort riders can choose their conversation preferences, including a silent trip. Uber Comfort trips cost slightly more than UberX.

Uber Comfort is now available in South Africa, Ghana and Ivory Coast as part of its global launch.
