Recognized as Spotify’s EQUAL Africa ambassador for June, Qing Madi, also known as Chimamanda Pearl Chukwuma, has captivated fans with her exceptional talent as a songwriter and entertainer since her debut in the Nigerian music scene. Her musical journey began at the tender age of seven, and at 16, she released her impressive track “See Finish,” solidifying her status as a rising star.

Drawing inspiration from her cultural roots and the lyrical arrangements of Kendrick Lamar, Qing Madi brings a fresh and innovative sound to the music industry, seamlessly blending Afrobeats, Pop, Soul, and R&B. Joining the ranks of other accomplished Nigerian artists such as Tiwa Savage, Ayra Starr, Asa, and FAVE, Qing Madi becomes part of EQUAL Africa, a program dedicated to spotlighting and amplifying the voices of talented female artists who are making waves in the industry.
