The program is a three-month, hybrid format accelerator that will run from March 2023 to May 2023. The CEO and CTO must participate in all three online boot camps of the program, and a third core team member can also attend, but this is optional. A maximum of three total company representatives can participate in each boot camp.

Selected startups are given:

  • Access to Google engineers, resources, and mentors, during and after the program
  • Hands-on Google for Startups collaboration and support
  • Inclusion in the Google for Startups Accelerator Global Community and network of alumni and mentors
  • Google Cloud Credits
  • Marketing spotlight opportunities

In addition, participating startups may have the opportunity to partner with Google on an advanced technology project.

Startups selected for the program will participate in three intensive boot camps centered on various topics such as product development, design, hiring, and fundraising. This is followed by an OKR (Objective Key Results) workshop to define their goals for the program.

Each startup will receive individualized mentorship and be paired with a dedicated Startup Success Manager (SSM) to help them make the most of Google’s resources and support.

At the end of the program, startups will have the opportunity to pitch their products or services to Google teams, mentors, venture capitalists, and other tech ecosystem stakeholders. The program will continue to engage with graduated startups through an alumni network to provide ongoing support.

The application process is now open, and Google invites all women-led tech startups up to Series A stage to apply by February 20th. Remember, no grants or funding are given to startups in the program.

Eligible Countries: Algeria, Botswana, Cameroon, Côte D’ivoire, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.
