More of the specs only “reserved” for flagship devices are also making their way to the budget and mid-range segments. Therefore, it can be quite confusing to know exactly where to spend if you are on a budget-too many options! Here is my list of the best phones to buy in Kenya if your budget cap is at KES 30K.

This phone was announced in the country in April of 2021, but it is still a winner budget phone for me today. With an edge-to-edge screen measuring 6.51″ wide, it’s almost a full inch bigger than its predecessor and the largest screen ever on a Nokia 1 series smartphone.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 

The first in the line of the latest Note 11 series devices is quite an ambitious phone at its budget. It is equipped with an FHD+ AMOLED screen while also reaching as much as 1200 nits to ensure the screen’s clarity even in bright daylight.

It launched just a few weeks ago in the country, and these are the rest of the main specs:

It launched back in December 2019, but this gadgets is still a stunner. It was actually among Samsung’s best selling phones in the A series. The A51 has a 6.5” Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
