2019 has been a lot for the world of gaming but this might just be one of the most bizarre notes to end the year with. The world’s top porn streaming site, Pornhub published its report for the year which concludes to one thing, PlayStation 4 owners are watching porn a lot. Don’t get me wrong, human beings, in general, are watching porn more than ever but these numbers seemed to directly reflect on one particular audience.

You may think that gamers are busily involved in the likes of Fortnite but the report claims that to be far from exactly true. PlayStation 4 owners were responsible for the majority of the watched time through gaming consoles, at 51.5% of all watched time.

Not only was it the platform most used but it was actually used the most above all other consoles combined. So, if you’ve ever wondered which console userbase was spending the most time with themselves, you’ve got your answer.

Of course, the numbers are affected to a great degree by the PS4 sales that Sony has made through the years and even this year in particular. After all, Sony did get a Guinness World Record for selling the most consoles across the globe.

Xbox One took second place, with 34.7% of the total share followed by the handheld PlayStation Vita, taking 9.1%. Other noteworthy items include the fact that Overwatch was still the most searched for game on Pornhub, followed by Fortnite. Newcomer Apex Legends made a large splash, passing everything else during a huge spike on February 18 and made fifth place on the list. All in all, it made for a busy year.
