One of 2019’s biggest and most-anticipated games Mortal Kombat 11 is set to attract players for the weekend with a new free offline trial mode.

As from Friday, Oct 11th, players have been handed this one time opportunity to jump into PS4 or Xbox One and play at absolutely no cost. The free trial mode is set to run till Monday the 14th. So, maybe you should take a shot at it if you haven’t had a new game for the weekend.

Of course, you’ll need an account on PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold but if you don’t have it you can still download the game and access offline content.

Moreover, the free trial includes enough content to keep you busy including two chapters of Mortal Kombat 11 story mode. Additionally, you will also get to access online 1v1 matches with the base roster.

You’ll also have access to The Krypt, Fatality training, and the Towers of Time mode, the latter of which you’ll be able to play as Terminator (the newest DLC fighter added to the roster just recently), Nightwolf, and Shang Tsung.

The game has however been out to players for some weeks and among the new roster of fighters including Terminator, it has received positive feedback so far.

This includes critics describing it as “a gateway into the realm of fighting games for anyone who has a passing interest in watching ruthless warriors beat each other silly”.More praise has also gone to the game’s mechanics that keep the act of fighting furiously exciting no matter what your skill level.

Anyway, don’t hear from just us as you can now play it for free and have your say.
