The developers over at Tencent Games seem to be catching up on the update frequency lately. PUBG Mobile will be receiving a new 0.15.0 update hitting app stores soon in Android and iOS. The beta version that is currently running is packed with lots of exciting stuff. This includes the Payload mode, two new guns and more.
Payload Mode
As for the Payload, players will be matched with 99 others on Erangel. The Evo Ground mode will contain exclusive weapons vehicles, and items, which is what sets the mode apart from the classic one. The weapons will include the M3E1 (missile launcher), RPG-7 (short-barreled grenade launcher), M79 (grenade launcher), and the MGL (grenade launcher).
There will be new vehicle repair packs air raid locators as new exclusive items. Luckily for those who waited, helicopters will finally be brought in the mode alongside BRDM-2 armoured vehicles. Yes, there will be tanks PUBG mobile.
Additionally, the mode will feature “superweapon crates” available at multiple areas in the map. What’s more, is that the location of these crates will be visible on the mini-map.
Oh, and you will be able to recall a dead teammate as well. This is set to set the mode completely apart from its original. Once eliminated, a teammate will leave behind an ID card that you can pick up two seconds after they’re dead. Then you will have the option of taking the card to “communication towers” to call back the eliminated player.
For now, the trial version contains graffiti which can be drawn using spray cans. Sound familiar, Fortnite?
Skins and grenades are also set to be available in the update. For those waiting for guns, the MP5K SMG and Desert Eagle pistol. The two will use 9mm ammunition for combat. Shooting a gas canister will now make it explode.
