The Infinix Zero 6 Pro was expected in Kenya sometime last year but clearly, that did not materialize as the device has just been announced on pre-order through online retail stores Jumia and Kilimall. Like previous generation Zero-series smartphones, the Zero 6 Pro puts a focus on photography.
The device comes with a familiar gradient colour design on the back – a theme that has been consistent with most brands now. For the culture, the company has included a notch (don’t get mad that it is not a waterdrop notch or a punchole – keep in mind that this device was designed last year). There are also dual cameras on the back and a single selfie camera all sprinkled with some Artificial Intelligence for scene recognition and beautification.
The Zero 6 Pro is the company’s most expensive phone yet. Traditionally, Infinix devices have been shy of the Kes.30,000 mark but it seems that Infinix is ready to take the leap and they are betting on the Zero 6 Pro to deliver.
Here’s a quick breakdown of what the Infinix Zero 6 Pro packs:
- Display: 6.18″ Full HD with notch
- Software: Android 8.1 Oreo
- Processor: Snapdragon 660
- Memory: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage
- Battery: 3570mAh
The Pre-Order
The Infinix Zero 6 is currently on Pre-Order, through Jumia and Kilimall, from today, February 25th 2019 to February 28th 2019. The pre-order price has been set at Kes,31,999 which is quite hefty considering the tough competition in that segment.
