OPPO today announced the launch of its new A series smartphone, the OPPO A18 in Kenya. It will feature a large 5,000mAh battery, the MediaTek Helio G85 and ample memory and storage. The OPPO A18 is engineered to provide smooth performance and long-lasting battery life.

The device also boasts a 90Hz Sunlight Display and an Ultra Volume Mode.

Iconic, Stunning and Lightweight Design

The OPPO A18 stays true to OPPO’s iconic design. It comes in two stylish colours, Glowing Blue and Glowing Black. Both models employ OPPO’s exclusive OPPO Glow design technique. This gives the back cover of the phone a subtle shimmering appearance. Thus creating a fingerprint-resistant, dual matte finish with glittery details.

The device is comfortable to hold and has a sleek and lightweight appearance. It’s only about 8.16mm in thickness and weighs only about 188g. In addition, the OPPO A18 features a Side Fingerprint Unlock functionality.

The OPPO A18 is equipped with an 8MP main camera and a 2MP bokeh camera. With the 5MP front camera, the OPPO A18 delivers stunning selfies and enhanced video call quality.

Powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 platform, the OPPO A18 delivers smooth and efficient performance. It also comes with a 4GB RAM+128GB ROM configuration, and RAM Expansion technology. This allows it to convert free ROM space into up to 4GB of RAM. This should keep the phone running smoothly during heavy-load scenarios.

The OPPO A18 introduces the Ultra Volume Mode, a large 5000mAh battery. On full charge and an IP54 dustproof and waterproof rating, with IPX4 Water Resistance. This will offer protection against water splashes or humid environments.
