OPPO Reno8 T Series and Enco Buds2- Key Specs and Price in Kenya

OPPO yesterday announced the newest addition to its popular Reno8 series. The OPPO Reno8 T and its 5G sibling is now available in Kenya.

The device features a Dual Micro-Curved Design, with a 120Hz 3D Curved Screen and 3D back cover. It also introduces an Ultra-Clear Imaging System backed by a 108MP Portrait Camera.

The 108MP Portrait Camera and Imaging System

The Reno8 T 5G implements OPPO’s first 108MP Portrait Camera. It also features a 40x Microlens, a 2MP Depth Camera, and a 32MP Selfie Camera.

The 108MP Portrait camera utilizes NanoPixel Plus binning technology and AI Portrait Super Resolution. The Microlens provides 40x magnification useful when exploring the microscopic world beyond the naked eye.

Reno8 T 5G offers other portrait features including Selfie HDR, Bokeh Flare Portrait, and Dual-View Video.

Design

With a 56-degree curve and 1.9 mm arc height, the screen is a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 93% screen-to-body ratio.

The Reno8 T 5G display comes with a 120Hz of refresh rate and a 1 Billion Color Display. To protect a user’s eyes the device has an AI Adaptive Eye Protection System

There is a crystal-effect 3D back cover that reduces fingerprint appearance. The phone weighs 171g and is 7.7mm thick.

Performance

The 67W SUPERVOOCTM Flash Charge can charge a 4800mAh battery up to 100% in just 44 minutes. OPPO says that a 5-minute charge is enough to enjoy 5.59 hours of phone calls or 3.56 hours of videos.

The Reno8 T 5G is equipped with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and supports up to 1TB SD card expansion. Additionally, up to 8GB of additional virtual RAM can also be added using OPPO’s RAM Expansion function.

To encourage users to interact more with the brand OPPO has launched LevelUpwithReno8T dance challenge on their socials. Three contestants will walk away with cash prizes. It will be Ksh100, 000 for the winner, Ksh50, 000 for the 1st runners-up, and Ksh30, 000 for the 2nd runners-up.

Reno8 T (4G)

Aside from the Reno8 T 5G, OPPO will also be availing the Reon8 T(4G Variant). This also has the 100MP Portrait Camera, 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology, and a 5000mAh battery.

OPPO Reno8 T comes with 8GB RAM and 256 GB ROM expandable. Reno8 T is powered by the latest edition of ColorOS 13. The Reno8 T will also feature smart Always on Display functionality while using Spotify and the autopixalate functionality.
