The long wait is over. Through the Student portal, you can now check your KUCCPS University Placement in 2021 For KCSE 2020 Candidates. The KUCCPS released a statement noting that the process is complete and the results will be released tomorrow.

In the 2020 KCSE, Education CS George Magoha indicated that all 747,171 students would be enrolled to higher education, tertiary institutions through KUCCPS. The time is now.

“The placement process is complete. We will release the results tomorrow Tuesday 17th August 2021.Expect the results through the media. In addition, we will notify applicants through the KUCCPS Student’s Portal. We will also send an SMS via their phone numbers,” reads the statement from KUCCPS.

“The joining dates and instructions are set and issued by the respective institutions. You will be contacted after the results are released,” added the statement.

How To Check University Placement in 2021 on KUCCPS Student Portal

Access via Student Portal

It’s pretty simple if you follow these steps.

1. Visit the KUCCPS website through https://students.kuccps.net/.
2. Log in by providing your username (KCSE full index number), year (2020) and a password (birth certificate number).
3. Once you log in and you are a successful applicant, you will see a message containing the details of your placement on the dashboard.

It should look something like this: “Congratulations, followed by the university you have been placed then finally the course you will pursue.” Following this, they expect universities to contact the students with relevant information. Specifically on how and when to enroll for their first year studies.

You can also check your placement status by sending an SMS with your Index Numbers to 20842.

Education CS Magoha notes that who scored lower than C+ (plus), about  143,140 candidates, are eligible to join Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVETs).
