HMD Global has today announced the launch of its latest smartphone, the Nokia C30 in Kenya.
The smartphone features a 6.82-inch HD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. This is powered by a Unisoc octa-core processor that works alongside 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. However, the phone is also available in 2GB RAM and 32GB of storage space.
At the back lies a dual camera module consisting 13MP wide lens and a 2MP depth lens. The 5MP selfie camera sits on the teardrop notch on top of the screen.
All this is juiced up by a huge 6000 mAh battery that supports 10W charging via the device’s MicroUSB port.
The Nokia C30 is now available in mobile retail stores across the country in green and white in 2/32GB, and 3/64GB configurations starting at KES 14,490.
Gopher Ogembo, Senior Business Manager Kenya & East Africa HMD Global said:
“Somewhat of a “flagship” in our C-series, the Nokia C30 is a shining example of what this range stands for – bringing the best possible quality to an introductory price point. It’s the ultimate device for Kenyans who are ready to transition into the world of smart technology – from a brand you know and trust. More than half of smartphone users say that daily battery life is the most important battery feature for their needs. The Nokia C30 is an answer to what people have been asking for – more time between charges, more screen, our signature security and durability, and the same accessible price point.”
