Samsung this year launched the powerful S22 Series, available in Kenya. We are still two or so months away from their next device launch, but still not too early for leaks and speculations. The next Samsung Unpacked event is likely to include the Galaxy S23 line-up of phones, succeeding this year’s S22 series.

Here are some features expected to be seen on the Samsung Galaxy S23 series.

A 200MP Camera on the Samsung Galaxy S23, and Other Expected Features

On the body design, nothing much seems to change in the expected Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Tipsters report that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will have dimensions of 163.4 × 78.1 × 8.9mm. The Galaxy S22 Ultra’s dimensions are 163.3 x 77.9 x 8.9mm, meaning that the phones will be almost identical in size and thickness.

On the other hand, the camera is receiving a major boost. The Samsung Galaxy S23 line will keep the same raindrop arrangement at the back, but the S23 Ultra has one more thing-A 200MP main camera.

The 200MP camera will be quite a leap from the 108MP that Samsung has been using since three years ago with the Galaxy S20 Ultra. This is the highest resolution in a modern smartphone camera. Samsung will seek to rival that the Moto X30 Pro — the world’s first phone with a 200MP camera.

Another expected three-year late upgrade might be on the selfie camera. Tips have it that the new Galaxy S23 could feature a 12MP selfie camera, a bit more from the 10MP that has been there since the Galaxy S20.

According to the leaks, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will also have a new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, as well as updated software.

So far, not much is changing from the S22 lineup. However, as we are still far from launch, we shall keep our eyes out and update on any new leaks and speculations.
