Safaricom is constantly doing upgrades and additional innovations to support its increasing customer growth and usage. As part of their systems investment, Safaricom is carrying out planned maintenance of their network in the next few days.

The service upgrade will be happening on Sunday 10th July 2022 from 1:30 AM to 3:00 AM, and Monday 11th July 2022 from 1:30 AM to 3:00 AM. During the maintenance, the below services will be unavailable.

• Airtime top-up and balance inquiries
• Data Bundle Purchase
• Okoa Jahazi and Tunukiwa services 
• SIM Swaps 
• Bonga Points earning and redemption 
• All tarrif changes including joining and or leaving Safaricom PostPay

All other services including calls, data, SMS, and M-PESA services will be available as usual
