Safaricom has announced a new set of data and voice bundles dubbed “All in One Monthly Bundles” that offer an option of a data-only bundle, data-heavy bundle and voice-heavy bundle to cater to the different needs of the telco’s subscribers.
These new bundles add to the already existing offerings from the telco including Platinum and Flex that all seem to target the same user group. The new monthly bundles range from Kes.1,000 to Kes.10,000 offering up to 50GB in data for heavy data users and 7500 voice minutes for heavy callers on the most expensive bundles.
Here’s a breakdown of all the new bundles:

All the new bundles will allow subscribers to access free WhatsApp messages if the data bundle gets exhausted before the 30 days validity period is exhausted. To purchase any of your preferred bundle, customers will be required to dial *544# and select option 1.
Interestingly, the new All in One Monthly Bundles do not actually include any SMS offerings, taking away the purpose of naming them All in One. If you are interested in purchasing bundles with SMS packaged into them, Platinum would be the way to go or you might as well just buy Flex bundles and use them as you wish.
