By Followers of various tech blogs in Kenya will attest to the excitement that followed the news that Huawei would start selling the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro in Kenya sometime this January. Despite not having information on pricing, it is quite a big deal that the Huawei Mate 20 series is making its way to the Kenyan market, albeit late.
So what’s the hype about? Well, from the title, it’s pretty clear. The camera! The Mate 20 Pro’s camera has received worldwide recognition as one of the best cameras on a smartphone, ever. Battling for the top title with the Pixel 3 and the iPhone XS.
We don’t have a review unit with us but we’ve done our best to collect what we believe are some of the best shots taken on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro from different users around the world, then maybe this will put into perspective why some of us are overly excited!

If these shots are any indication of what the Huawei Mate 20 Pro can do, I really can’t wait for the device to launch in Kenya. My prayer is that Huawei will not mess it up with absurd pricing!
