Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has recently announced the launch of three new smartphones – Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24. These devices come packed with Galaxy AI, which enhances the user experience in numerous ways. The Galaxy S series introduces a new era of mobile devices that empower users with AI. Users can enjoy barrier-free communication through intelligent text and call translations.as well as explore their creative potential with Galaxy’s ProVisual Engine. Additionally, the new search standard on Galaxy devices will transform how users discover the world around them.

In his statement after the global launch, Anthony Hutia, the Head of Mobile Experience at Samsung Electronics East Africa, expressed his excitement for the Galaxy S24 series. He believes that this series will ignite the next decade of mobile innovation. Hutia explained that the Galaxy AI is built on Samsung’s innovation heritage and deep understanding of how people use their phones. He also mentioned that he is excited to see how users around the world will empower their everyday lives with Galaxy AI to open up new possibilities.

The Galaxy S24 series marks the beginning of the Galaxy AI era, which introduces intelligent features aimed at enhancing every aspect of life. These features include Live Translate, Circle to Search, Chat Assist, Note Assist, and Galaxy AI editing tools.

In Kenya the recommended Retail prices are, the Galaxy S24 8+256GB will go for Ksh141,400; the Galaxy S24+ 12+256GB variant will go for Ksh160,700 and the 12+512GB variant will go for Ksh179,700;
the Galaxy S24 Ultra 12+256GB variant will go for Ksh210,300 and the 12+512GB variant will go for Ksh229,400.

Hutia has announced that pre-orders for the Galaxy S24 series in Kenya will be available from January 18, 2024, until February 13, 2024. Customers who pre-order any Galaxy S24 device with 256GB storage will receive an upgrade to the 512GB storage variant.

Customers who pre-order any of the Galaxy S24 devices will receive benefits from various brands in Kenya, such as Kenya Airways, Absa Kenya, Safaricom and JTL Faiba Mobile 2. Through Kenya Airways’ Asante Rewards program, Galaxy S24 series customers will receive free access to Kenya Airways lounges, one free preferred seating with extra legroom, an additional free bag, and 75% bonus miles for every flight.

Safaricom and JTL Faiba Mobile are offering attractive deals for pre-ordering the Galaxy S24 series in Kenya. Safaricom is offering free 45GB data to customers who pre-order from their shops, while JTL Faiba Mobile is offering free 65GB data and 50 minutes of free calling to other networks. Additionally, Absa Bank credit card holders will be able to purchase the Galaxy S24 series with repayments starting from as low as Ksh13,000 per month.
