Resetting your Airpods can help in fixing a number of minor issues that usually occur. At the moment there are a number of Apple consumers that experience issues. Running into issues is common because it’s a wireless technology and it can tend to be slightly unpredictable. Here are some issues that can be solved by resetting your Airpods.

• Problems connecting to a phone or tablet. If you’re running into an issue where your AirPods aren’t connecting to your phone or tablet.
• Call drops. At times, there are call drops which can get infuriating.
• One AirPod won’t connect. This is another common issue that Airpod users experience.
• Computer connection issues. Sometimes maintaining a Bluetooth connection can be a problem.
• Audio issues. Bluetooth connections can be affected by interference, which can cause everything from static to reduced audio quality and even disconnects.

The issues that have been mentioned above can be easily resolved by resetting. Here is a step by step on successfully resetting your Airpods.

Resetting Your Airpods

1. Put your AirPods in their charging case, and close the lid.
2. Wait 30 seconds.
3. Open the lid of your charging case.
4. On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > Bluetooth and tap the More Info button i next to your AirPods. (If you don’t see your AirPods in Settings > Bluetooth, just go to the next step.)
5. Tap Forget This Device, and tap again to confirm.
6. With the lid open, press and hold the setup button on the back of the case for about 15 seconds, until the status light flashes amber, then white.*
7. Reconnect your AirPods: With your AirPods in their charging case and the lid open, place your AirPods close to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Follow the steps on your device’s screen.
