TECNO Mobile has quietly introduced a new variant of their camera-centric smartphone lineup Camon 11. For those who expected this to be the Camon 11 Pro, I am sorry to disappoint but it’s not. This new Camon 11 variant comes with slightly more RAM and storage compared to the current one in the market that was introduced a few months ago.
Through its social media platforms, TECNO Mobile Kenya introduced the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant that will be retailing at Kes.16,999 which is a thousand shilling more than the standard variant that offers 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.

Aside from the bump up in memory, the rest of the specifications remains the same:
- 6.2-inch notched display
- Helio A22 processor
- 3750mAh battery
- Dual camera with 13MP and 2MP lenses and a 16MP selfie camera
- Android 8.1 Oreo
The device will be available both online and offline at select stores, available in either Red or Blue (the actual colour names might be different).
As good as it is to see the company introduce a better spec’d variant of the Camon 11 that is more able to compete in today’s market, there’s still no word on the Camon 11 Pro that we so highly anticipated to take on the likes of Huawei Y9 (2019) and the OPPO F11.
